Dreamland Development Foundation

Founded in 2014, our non-profit organization is dedicated to transforming the lives of women and youth in Myanmar’s Chin State and the Kalay-Kabaw region of Sagaing Division.

These regions are among the most underdeveloped in the country, with Chin State being the poorest and least resourced. We are committed to empowering marginalized communities by providing education, vocational training, and access to essential skills for sustainable development.

At Dreamland Development Foundation, we believe that building self-reliant individuals and thriving communities begins with empowering women and youth.

Our programs focus on equipping participants with the knowledge and skills they need to build brighter futures for themselves and their families.

Through our initiatives, we aim to break the cycle of poverty, promote economic growth, and foster sustainable development in these underserved regions

Empowering Communities Through Skills Development and Sustainable Practices

Vocational Training in Sewing and Tailoring

We provide women with sewing and tailoring skills, empowering them to start small businesses or join the workforce to support their families.

Agriculture and Organic Farming

We promote sustainable farming by teaching organic techniques that boost crop yields, improve food security, and build healthier communities.

Basic IT and Digital Literacy

We provide IT and digital literacy training, empowering women and youth to access opportunities and succeed in today’s global economy.

Financial Literacy

Our financial literacy programs empower participants to manage their finances, make smart decisions, save for the future, and build lasting economic stability.

Entrepreneurship

We foster entrepreneurship by offering training and resources that inspire individuals to start businesses, driving local economic growth and creating new job opportunities.

Our Dreamland Library plays a vital role in the educational development of the women and youth in the region.

The library offers access to a wide variety of books and resources, allowing individuals to learn new skills, further their education, and improve their lives.

We believe that education is the foundation for empowerment, and the Dreamland Library serves as a hub for community learning, inspiration, and growth.

Dreamland Development Foundation empowers women and youth in Chin State and the Kalay-Kabaw region through vocational training, entrepreneurship, and skills development, fostering self-reliance, economic growth, and community development in underserved areas.

We envision empowered, self-sustained communities in Chin State, where women and youth thrive through education and skills, driving social and economic transformation for a brighter, more equitable future.
